Celebrating their 10-year anniversary, Psycho Magnets, a trio of seasoned and talented musicians hailing from the Central Florida area, have released a 5 song, self titled, CD that is sure to please. The band is comprised of bass/lead vocals, Bill Hamilton (widely known as Wild Willy), guitar, Mike Jones, on drums, Sid Hill and don't forget seasoned veteran and newest member, bassist John Falcon. They have opened for the likes of Blue Oyster Cult, the Vince Neil Band, and Stephen Pearcy’s Rat Bastards, to name a few, pounding out popular hard rockin’ covers from the 80’s, 90’s, and today, while adding their ever popular originals into the mix.

This CD is filled with songs that have hard-driving undertones sure to get you rockin’! Leading the way are ‘Feel It' & ‘Scream', both of which are great representations of the band's live sound with Sid Hill leading that "drive" in both of these songs and never letting up. The signature famous scream from Bill ending the song, ‘Scream', is well represented and is as impressive and powerful in this recording as it is live.

‘Twisted Dreaming' has a quirky sound and singing style throughout that has it's own unique appeal and, have you ever had that one crazy woman you've dated that you just can't get rid of no matter how hard you try?? Well, have I got a song for you. This song tells the tale as no other can, and it's called, ‘Psycho’. This song is a unique mix between that hard-drive and a heavier-sided ballad, incorporating hard hitting lyrics with a nicely done harmony finishing it all off.

Then, there is the one true ballad of the CD, ‘Set Me Free', which has surprised me for being my favorite of the CD. This song is so reminiscent of the 80's, and of those famous big ballads of the day, gentle chimes throughout, that it gives me goose-bumps all the way. From the heartfelt lyrics to the heavy, well executed guitar solos, it is the perfect combination of change ups in just the right places making it work together perfectly.

Overall, this is a one hard rockin’ CD that you need in your collection. This debut effort will be certain to bring well-deserved attention and praise to this band and a few rounds bought, I’m sure!

I also hear that the band has more original songs to put out at a later date on a longer CD, which may incorporate these recordings, so we'll look forward to that!
