As you can tell, Central Florida Rocks is primarily a music magazine -- not a bunch of half-assed articles bundled together as an excuse to sell advertising. Accordingly, the quality and readability of our content comes first. We offer only one type of banner ad - banner ad size (468x60) and only two banner ads per page. This means that our guaranteed impression count is lower than many of our competitors, but it also means that your ad won't be lost in a sea of flashing logos and cycling text. We've seen sites with up to nine ads per page. Who's getting their money's worth there? We also offer electronic flyers for shows and events. The size of the electronic flyers is not limited, but please amke them ledgable as we may have to downsize them to fit a certain section of the page. We will make the flyer full size when clicked on whenever possible. Please no larger than 8x10 at 100dpi. Thanks for your cooperation in this.

Ad banners are stored in a database on our server, and are randomly loaded with each new page view or reload. This gives each advertising banner an equal degree of exposure on the site. We guarantee a minimum of 30,000 impressions per ad per month -- that's a conservative figure based on a full slate of ads (24) and a page view count from 2004.

Your ad will appear on the main page of the site, all main section pages, all new reviews, articles and department pages, plus all archived content published after March, 2004 -- in short, all of the major traffic-generating content on the site. Our most popular older feature articles have also been retrofitted to include ads.

Our target advertisers are bands, record labels, music festivals, night clubs, bars and record stores, as well as associated materials like books, music-oriented DVDs, et cetera. We reserve the right not to sell you an ad if we feel that your product does not meet our readers' range of interests. We do this for your protection as well as our own!

We're not a budding megacorporation, and we're not asking you to pay office rent or finance a coke habit. Splendid is a serious and professional endeavor, but we're not making our living from it and we don't intend to. That means we don't have to gouge your ass for more than a banner ad is worth; we just want to cover our operating costs, while offering you a full-size banner ad and a healthy impression count. You say you want to advertise but don't have the resources to design and assemble a banner? No worries. We'll create one for you for no additional charge. We're actually pretty good at it, though we're not the speediest designers in the world.

• If you design your ad, it can be changed as often as you wish, with 24-hour notice. If we design your ad, you are limited to one design for the run of your purchase.
• We reserve the right to refuse any ad that contains content we consider inappropriate for Central Florida Rocks. This might include products with which we do not wish to be associated (i.e. Britney Spears albums), spelling/usage errors in your ad, images of graphic sex or violence, or just plain stupid-looking ads.
